Ming switch on for Rambler

BAIE VERTE, Newfoundland, Apr 12 – Canadian junior Rambler Metals and Mining is preparing to make the step from gold to copper production at its Ming mine in Newfoundland and Labrador's Baie Verte Peninsula, Canada.
Rambler has poured 9,714oz of gold to date while continuing exploration diamond drilling in the 1806 zone at Ming, returning visible gold intersections including 4.45m (core length) of 49.69g/t uncut (7.57g/t cut) and 29.8m (core length) of 39.8g/t uncut (4.47g/t cut).
CEO George Ogilvie says the gold processing should be completed by mid-May, when the company will begin running low-grade copper ore through the concentrator as part of the start-up and commissioning process. Once the process has been optimised, high grade copper ore from the 1807 zone will be fed through the mill.
Ogilvie says the execution of the Phase 1 high-grade, low-tonnage plan in FY2013 will place Rambler on a strong financial footing to identify opportunities for optimisation and possible expansion beyond 2014.
