Kazakh sales breakthrough for Central Asia
15th May 2012
MELBOURNE, May 15 – Gold explorer/developer Central Asia Resources has established sales avenues for its Dalabai gold project in Kazakhstan, signing up with Glencore subsidiary Kazzinc and gaining its own export permit.
Central Asia says the Kazzinc agreement and the export permit will enable it to use the most cost-effective and efficient methods of selling its gold.
The company, which has been processing resin at Dalabai since February, expects revenue from its first sale via Kazzinc within 10 days. The Dalabai mine is consistently crushing and stacking over 1,000tpd ore, moving closer to its preliminary goal of producing 1,000oz/month gold, 50% of optimal capacity.
