Millennium lifts Camel Creek resources

25th May 2012

PERTH, May 25 – Mineral resources at the Camel Creek Joint Venture 25km east of Nullagine in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia have grown to 105,000oz gold by a 155% leap in resources at three of the project’s four deposits.

The 50-50 Millennium Minerals-Northwest Resources JV upgraded the figure for the Junction, Roscoes Reward and Little Wonder to 97,000oz contained gold. A fourth deposit, Round Hill, holds 8000oz in a resource estimate dating back to 2006.

Millennium says 76% of the JV mineral resources are in the measured and indicated categories.

The Camel Creek deposits are close to Millennium’s own All Nations and Little Wonder deposits, and it’s planned to develop the contiguous Little Wonder deposits as a combined pit.
