Atrum ties up BC coalfield

AUG 3 – New Australian metallurgical coal explorer/developer Atrum Coal says it has locked up the majority of the known coal-gearing geology in the Naskeena coalfield in British Columbia, Canada with the 100% acquisition of the Naskeena North and Central projects.
The Naskeena coalfield, boasting excellent infrastructure, has an independently verified exploration target of 200-250Mt. Previous exploration intersected numerous 0.3-2.4m coal seams from surface to 70m depth with the potential for simple truck and shovel operation.
Naskeena is 50km north of Terrace BC, and 150km from the Prince Rupert deep sea port and Ridley coal terminal.
Atrum also holds 100% of its flagship Groundhog project, with a JORC inferred resource of 50Mt, along with the Peace River and Bowron River projects in BC.
