New gold zones for Bright Star
21st Aug 2012
AUGUST 21: Drilling at Bright Star Resources’ Miyabi gold project in Tanzania has identified a new gold zone at the Chui prospect.
The new zone offers potential to increase the current 520,000oz gold resource.
Chui lies 1km along strike from the recently discovered Dalafuma prospect, south of the known gold resource.
Drilling at Chui returned 11m at 23g.t gold from 54m, while at Dalafuma results included 12m at 12.6g/t from 66m and 24m at 10.6g/t from 21m.
Bright Star is planning follow up drilling at both prospects.
